BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:
Janice M. Covert, 35, of Renfrew waived to court charges of driving under the influence, accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle, false reports, driving during suspension and duty to give information and render aid. The charges were filed by Butler Township police on June 13.
Nancy Moorhead, 52, of Butler waived to court four counts of bad checks filed by Butler Township police June 8.
Megan J. Kernicky, 26, of Butler waived to court a bad check charge filed by Butler Township police April 19.
Matthew P. Miller, 24, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence and driving on roads lined for traffic filed by Butler Township police June 12.
Conrad E. Miller, 59, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence and driving under suspension, filed by city police July 10.
Richard Townsend, 29, of Butler waived to court charges of retail theft and corruption of minors, filed by Butler Township police June 8.
William M. Schantz, 38, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of simple assault, criminal mischief, trespassing and two counts of harassment, filed by Butler Township police July 3.
Darlene Vescio, 54, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence and speeding filed by Butler Township police June 29.
Stephanie Lee Hilins, 22, of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, waived to court a criminal mischief charge, filed by Butler Township police June 12.
Jerry J. Trauterman Jr., 36, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence and speeding, filed by Butler Township police on June 19.
Jason S. Scott, 27, of Butler pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft, filed by Butler Township police June 22. He was ordered to pay fines and court costs totaling $493.50.
Justin T. Zarnick, 22, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, restraint systems, restrictions on driver's license, driving on roads lined for traffic and careless driving, filed by state police June 20.
Kristoffer D. Brown, 34, of Butler waived to court charges of access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, filed by Butler Township police June 6.
Janine L. Frobe, 40, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and obedience to traffic control devices, filed by Butler Township police June 20.
David L. Beilstein, 23, of Butler pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct, filed by Butler Township police June 28. He was ordered to pay fines and court costs totaling $493.
Sarah L. Rycroft, 25, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed by Butler Township police June 28. She was ordered to pay fines and court costs totaling $338.
Michael R. Fudoll, 45, of Butler waived to court charges of retail theft and relieving stolen property, filed by Butler Township police June 29.
Laura J. Patterson, 20, of Cabot waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed by Butler Township police June 29.
Amber L. Williams, 25, of New Kensington, Westmoreland County, was held for court on charges of possession of a controlled substance, sale/delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy, filed by state police July 6.
Karen M. Matthews, 25, of Valencia waived to court a charge of theft by deception, filed by Butler Township police June 19.
Paula L. Buzard, 41, of Lyndora waived to court two charges of bad checks, filed by Butler Township police June 26.
David R. Davenport III, 35, of Butler waived to court three charges each of theft by deception, receiving stolen property and bad checks, filed by Butler Township police June 26.
SLIPPERY ROCK — These cases were recently heard by District Judge Cliff Woessner:Joshua Michael McDougall, 22, of 201 E. Mercer St., Harrisville, is scheduled to appear Sept. 18 in court. McDougall is charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, theft, receiving stolen property, and eight counts of each; access device fraud and ID theft. McDougall was charged June 26 by state police.Albert Richard McKnight Jr., 51, of Route 422, Prospect, is scheduled to appear for arraignment in court Sept. 18. McKnight is charged with simple assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of children. McKnight was charged by state police June 28.Luke Michael McGee, 21, of 106 W. Boyd Ave., Butler is scheduled to appear Sept. 25 in court on a DUI charge. Reckless driving, carrying a firearm without a license and driving under suspension charges were dismissed. Charges were filed July 3 by Slippery Rock Borough Police.Levi David Hayes, 49, of 21 Rosetta Street, Pittsburgh pleaded guilty to false report and drug paraphernalia charges and was fined $553. Possession of marijuana, driving under suspension and speeding charges were dismissed. Hayes was charged by state police May 30.
