Brandi Stewart of Butler has been awarded a scholarship by the Napco Scholarship Program.Stewart is a criminology major at Indiana (Pa.) University.At the university, she is a member of the National Senior Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi and the Environmentally Conscious Organization. She also serves as a Trailblazer campus tour guide and as a Red Cross Blood Drive volunteer.———
Jessica Long of Cranberry Township has been accepted to the Mylan School of Pharmacy at Duquesne University.The daughter of George and Anita Long, she is a graduate of Seneca Valley High School and a student at Gannon University.———
Lindsay Macomber of Butler has been accepted to the School of Pharmacy at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.The daughter of James and Kathleen Macomber, she is a graduate of Butler High School and a student at Gannon University.———
Brittany Angert, daughter of C. Debbie Angert of Petrolia and the late Danny Angert, has been accepted to the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville for the fall 2006 term.Arecent graduate of Karns City High School, Angert was active in Varsity Soccer, Track, SADD, Peer Leadership and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. She was also named her school's homecoming queen and volunteered with the Petrolia Fire Department.Angert plans to major in nursing.
