Fendlay

John M. Fendlay, 67, of 1156 Mt. Hope Furnace Road, Portersville, died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at his home.

Born Feb. 9, 1939, in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of Laura Gainer.

He was a truck driver for Jevic Transportation and enjoyed work in the yard, walking and NASCAR racing.

Surviving are his wife, Norma VanZandt Fendlay, whom he married April 15, 1960; a daughter, Debi Evans of New Castle; his mother of Rockledge, Fla., and two grandchildren.

<B>FENDLAY </B>— Friends of John M. Fendlay, who died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the <B>R. Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. Services will follow at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
