Daniel Klodowski, the son of Harry and Amy Klodowski of Middlesex Township, was honored for his scholastic achievements with a $10,000 scholarship from Allegheny Energy.A recent graduate of Mars High School, Klodowski will attend the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University in University Park to pursue a degree in engineering.During his high school career, he played on the school's varsity tennis team and was involved in student government. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and was commended as a National Merit Scholar.———
<B>Sarah Yakima</B>, daughter of Edward and Susan Yakima of Portersville, was recently inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honorary Fraternity.———
<B>Brandi Ambrose</B>, daughter of Michael and Stacy Wolf of Butler, has been accepted to the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville for the fall, 2006, term.A recent graduate of Butler High School, she plans to major in Japanese and liberal arts.While in high school, she was active in the Honors Choir and Japanese Club.———
<B>Amanda Wilbert </B>of Butler was recently awarded a $2,000 scholarship by the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.A student at Edinboro University, she is majoring in forensic accounting and criminal justice.She is a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in business administration and was nominated for the Alpha Chi Honor Society and the Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society in criminal justice. Wilbert has also served on the University Senate's Student Concerns Committee and the Edinboro Campus Ministry Board.———
<B>Nicholas McCurdy</B>, son of Brian and Kathy McCurdy of Summit Township, was recently awarded a full scholarship to attend Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week at Lycoming College.Ajunior at Butler High School, he participated in the weeklong program, focusing on the private enterprise system.———
<B>Brittany Green</B>, daughter of Mike and Wendy Green of Karns City, has been accepted to the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville for the fall, 2006 term.A 2005 graduate of Karns City High School, she plans to enroll in the physical therapist assistant program.While in high school, she participated in the National Honor Society, Peer Leadership program and the soccer and basketball teams.———
