Tim Geibel pitched nine innings over two days and struck out 17 as the East Butler A's defeated the East Butler Orioles, 2-1, in the Butler County Colt League championship game Wednesday.

The game was called in the eighth inning Monday because of darkness.

Geibel allowed only two hits. Losing pitcher Chris Heller surrendered four hits and struck out eight.

Nick Rossmiller had a double and a single for the A's, while Tim Geibel and Ryan Geibel each had singles.

Ryan Pettit and Mike Bresnahan each had singles for the Orioles.
