Sam Stone delivered a two-run single in the top of the sixth inning Wednesday night, sending Saxonburg Dr. Tile to a 6-5 win over Zelienople Jadco in Game 2 of the Mid-County Pony League Baseball championship series.

The series is even at one game each, with the third and deciding contest slated for 6 p.m. Friday at Zelienople.

Josh Tackett doubled and tripled for Saxonburg, with Bubba Paulsen adding a double and Nathan Junk a triple. Max Vickerman homered and tripled for Zelienople.

Butler County Pony

The East Butler Dodgers defeated the Harrisville Bulldogs 12-6 in Game 1 and 17-10 in Game 2 to capture the best-of-three championship series.

East Butler 12, Harrisville Bulldogs 6—Zach Harrison had two singles and two doubles, Eli Christy had two singles and a triple, Chad Walker had two singles and Ian Jewart had a double and single to power the Dodgers.M. Corner and B. Giesler each had two singles for the Bulldogs.
