Michael Hughes had two singles, a double, a grand slam home run and six RBI to lead Zelienople Jadco to a 15-12 victory over Saxonburg Dr. Tile in Game 1 of the best-of-three Mid-County Pony Championship Series.

Brad Collier added three singles and an RBI, Steven Mogielski had two hits and three RBI, Zak Frishkorn had two hits and two RBI, and Max Vickerman pitched three hitless innings with five strikeouts.

For Dr. Tile, Koti Walchesky had two singles, a triple and two RBI, and Sam Stone a single, a home run and four RBI.

Game 2 will be played Wednesday at Zelienople.
