Cody Wheeler tossed a two-hit shutout and JordanAllen homered and drove in two runs as the Butler Township Federation Pony League team routed Boardman 10-0 in the Federation Pony World Series in Boardman, Ohio, over the weekend.

Bobby Swartwout doubled and singled, Cody Herald singed and drove in two runs and Cody Bachman and ZachRader each singled for Butler Township, which will play Boardman again at 3:30 p.m. today in the championship game.

Boardman must beat Butler Township twice.

The winner advances to the Zone Tournament in Maryland this upcoming weekend.

Mid-County Colt

Nick Rossmiller tossed a complete-game shutout and also singled twice as the East Butler A's downed SlipperyRock 10-0 in Mid-CountyColt playoff action Saturday.

RyanArmahizer had two doubles and RyanGeibel a double and a single for the A's.

Joey Hemphill doubled twice and Travis McDougal singled for Slippery Rock.

Mid-County Pony

Zelienople Jadco 14, Zelienople Blinn Insurance 9 — Max Vickerman went 4-for-4 with two RBI and also picked up the win in relief for Jadco.Joe Lang also drove in three runs for Jadco.Chris Durogy was 4-for-4 with three RBI for Blinn Insurance.

East Butler Dodgers 11, Butler Elks 1 — Ian Jewart homered and Blake Suggs and Eli Christy each singled and tripled for the Dodgers.Zach Harrison doubled and singled and Mike Ahrens also had two hits for the Dodgers.Tom Chybrzyski had two singles for Butler Elks.
