Howard J. Johns, 75, formerly of Portersville, died May 15.

He was the son of Joseph G. and Sarah Lynch Johns.

He is survived by a sister, Mary McElroy; a nephew, Carl McElroy; and a niece, Susan Smith.

Preceding him in death were two brothers.
