The Butler Township Pony League baseball all-star squad picked up a pair of wins Friday at the regional tournament in Boardman, Ohio.

In the first win, Cody Wheeler and Bobby Swartwout each singled and homered in a 15-2 romp over Washington (Pa.)

David Hohn and Cody Herald each singled and doubled for the victors, while Shane Peters contributed a base hit.

Butler Township 8, Millcreek (Pa.) 1 — Bobby Swartwout collected as many hits at the plate (three), as he surrendered on the mound while pitching a complete game in the victory.Cody Herald added three singles, Jordan Allen had two doubles and Zach Rader and Chase Rogers each had a single.
