The Rev. John and Barbara Schneidmiller of the Haven IIApartments at Concordia in Cabot, celebrated 55 years of marriage recently with a family dinner and open house in the Haven II dining room.

The couple was married June 25, 1951, at St. John's Lutheran Church in East Liverpool, Ohio.

They have four children, Nancy Laine of Columbus, Ohio; Karen Flinchbaugh of Edinboro; Gretchen Gallagher of Saxonburg; and Debra Gallagher of DuBois. Two sons, Bob Schneidmiller and Mark Schneidmiller, are deceased.

They also have 13 grandchildren.

Schneidmiller is a retired Lutheran pastor, having served at First English Lutheran Church for 16 years.

Mrs. Schneidmiller is a retired teacher's aide. She volunteers with the Caring Angels Foundation and Hospice.

The couple belongs to Nativity Lutheran Church in Allison Park. Both enjoy gardening, walking and volunteering at Concordia.
