Watermelon Wednesdays feature free concerts and watermelon at Slippery Rock Area Parks and Recreation building, 320 N. Main St. The band Moses will play neo-classical rock from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Other concessions will be available. Call 724-794-8181.
<B>River City Brass Band</B>, for the first time in its 25 year history, will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Point State Park during the Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta. The 28 member brass ensemble will play renditions of patriotic favorites including "Armed Forces Salute," a song the will recognize every member of the military attending the concert. Tickets are covered under the $1 admission fee for the regatta. The River City Youth Brass Band will perform at 6 p.m. The 29th annual regatta goes on from Saturday through Tuesday. Call 800-292-7222.<B>Casually Classic concert</B> with the Pittsburgh Symphony and Fiddlesticks as well as the Center for Young Musicians will take place this evening at 301 Camp Meeting Road. The event is presented by the Watson Institute. Pre-concert activities and a picnic time begin at 6 p.m. followed by the performance at 7:30 p.m. Those attending can take a picnic or buy one there.
