SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Christopher Barnes, 30, of Freeport waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance, filed Dec. 8, 2004, by Penn Township police.

Barnes, in a separate case filed May 30 by Buffalo Township police. waived to court charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment.

Additionally, in another case filed June 12 by Buffalo Township police, Barnes pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to pay $348.50 in fines and court costs.

Heather Buhl, 26, of Apollo, Armstrong County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving with suspended registration, driving without insurance, driving without valid inspection, and driving without working rear lights.

Lonnie Huey, 32, of Freeport waived to court charges of DUI and a stop sign violation, filed May 25 by Buffalo Township police.

Raymond Keefer Jr., 48, of Monaca, Beaver County, waived to court charges of driving with a suspended license and being a habitual offender for driving under suspension, and driving without a license, filed May 4 by Buffalo Township police.

Justin Stephenson, 24, of Clearfield Township waived to court charges of DUI and driving too fast for conditions, filed May 15 by Saxonburg police.

Donald Zema, 49, of Winfield Township waived to court charges of DUI, careless driving, reckless driving, and failure to keep right, filed May 1 by state police.

BUTLERTWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Lara Cuckler, 20, of Butler waived to court a charge of retail theft filed, May 17 by Butler Township police.Ronald Goetz Jr., 24, of Cranberry Township was held for court on charges of stalking, simple assault and two counts of harassment, filed May 10 by Butler Township police.Michael Gregg, 24, of Butler was held for court on a charge of driving under the influence, filed April 27 by state police.Kathleen Ihlenfeld, 26, of Connoquenessing waived to court charges DUI, careless driving, driving too fast for conditions, driving a vehicle without valid inspection, filed May 18 by Butler Township police.Katie Klein, 25, of Butler was held for court on charges of acquisition of a controlled substance by fraud, conspiracy and possession of a controlled substance, filed May 23 by Butler Township police.Joseph Lesniak, 56, of Butler waived to court a charge of DUIfiled May 8 by Butler Township police.Allison Newman, 4, of Butler waived to court charges of DUIand driving too fast for conditions, filed April 13 by Butler Township police.Justin Schultz, 20, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, careless driving, minors prohibited from driving a vehicle with alcohol in their system, underage drinking, failure to immediately notify police of an accident, and not wearing a seat belt, filed May 9 by Butler Township police.Hollie Anne Smith, 25, of Clarion waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed May 3 by Butler Township police.Mark Andrew Smith, 21, of Butler was held for court on charges of DUI, accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property, failure to immediately notify police of an accident, and driving a vehicle without an inspection sticker, filed May 4 by Butler Township police.Gary Tichansky, 21, of Chicora waived to court charges of DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license, filed May 10 by Butler Township police.John Tomlin, 20, of Butler waived to court charges of simple assault and two counts of harassment, filed May 18 by Butler Township police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases:Richard Birckbichler, 61, of Karns City waived to court a charge of hindering apprehension or prosecution, filed May 30 by state police.Charlotte Black-Lewis, 27, of Rouseville, Venango County, pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft, filed June 7 by state police. She was ordered to pay $209.50 in fines, court costs and restitution.Clyde Bresnahan, 50, of Butler waived to court two counts each of indecent assault with a person under 13 years old, endangering the welfare of children, indecent assault, and corruption of minors, filed April 26 by state police.Carrie Cubbage, of Butler pleaded guilty to separate charges of bad checks, filed May 10 in a private complaint by Giant Eagle. She was ordered, combined in both cases, to pay $798 in fines, court costs and restitution.David Davenport III 35, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of bad checks, filed May 30 by state police. He was ordered to pay $968.50 in fines, court costs and restitution.William Lucas, 32, of East Butler waived to court a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Jan. 30 by state police.Matthew Maley, 23, of Karns City waived to court 16 counts each of forgery, theft by deception, bad checks and conspiracy, filed May 1 by state police.Debra Mulig, 47, of Ellwood City waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed May 31 by state police.Stephanie Snyder, 43, of Boyers waived to court charges of resisting arrest, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, filed April 28 by the Butler County Sheriff's Office.Micah Sproat, 25, of Renfrew waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed March 22 by state policeDavid Staff, 61, of Butler waived to court charges of indecent assault, criminal solicitation and two counts of corruption of minors, filed May 5 by state police.Erik Williams, 28, of Chicora waived to court charges of burglary, conspiracy, theft and receiving stolen property, filed May 30 by state police.Williams, in a separate case filed May 30 by state police, waived to court charges of theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception and receiving stolen property.

WORTH TWP, Mercer County — District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:Darrell M. Metcalf Jr., 46, of 243 Slippery Rock Creek Road, Harrisville, had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged Metcalf with two counts of driving under the influence and exceeding the maximum speed limit.Joseph Daniel Milcarek Jr., 28, of Pittsburgh pleaded guilty to two charges of theft by deception, filed by Grove City Police April 17.Scott Lee Grossman, 25, of 1037 Barkeyville Road, Grove City, had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged Grossman May 24 with acquiring or obtaining possession of a controlled substance.
