Wise 60th anniversary
Harold and Mae Wise of Evans City celebrated 60 years of marriage with an open house Saturday at the home of their daughter and son-in-law in Evans City.
The former Mae Miller married Wise on June 16, 1946, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.
They have three children, Carol Korn of Butler and Barbara Nulph and Marsha Gavula, both of Evans City.
They also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Wise is retired from the sales department at Robinson Industries in Zelienople. He is a member of Masonic Lodge 429 in Harmony, American Legion in Zelienople, New Castle Consistory and Syria Temple in Pittsburgh. He is also a veteran of the Navy, serving during World War II.Mrs. Wise is a homemaker.The couple belongs to St. John's United Church of Christ in Evans City.
