Gloria E. Nene, 72 of Villa Drive died at 5:31 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 21, 1933, in Butler, she was the daughter of Samuel Cunningham and Charlotte Dershimer.

She served in the Army during the Korean War and had been a dietician at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Mrs. Nene was a Lutheran.

Surviving are a son, James C. Clements of Summerfield, Fla.; three brothers, Charles Cunningham of Sarver, Reed Cunningham of Evans City and Sam Cunningham of Chicora; a sister, Mrs. Michael (Dolores) Patterson of Reno, Nev.; and by many nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Charles A. Nene, died March 3, 1981. A brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.
