The Kepples in 1956

David and Shirley Kepple of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at their home.

The former Shirley Schidemantle married Kepple on June 2, 1956, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Chicora.

They have five children, Debra Bossinger, Edward Kepple, William Kepple, Amy Bly and Joseph Kepple, all of Chicora.

They also have 14 grandchildren.Kepple is retired from Armco. He belongs to the Moose Lodge in Chicora.Mrs. Kepple is a retired assistant from Chicora Elementary School.The couple belongs to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora.
