• Kaleidoscope arts festival continues through April 30 on campus. For more information, call 724-738-2091.

• Music and dance will be featured when the "Sounds of Korea" is presented by the Korean Traditional Performing Arts Association of New York on Saturday.

The performance will include three sets of drums recently donated to the university by its sister school, Kangwon University in Kangwon, South Korea.

The performance is set for 6:30 p.m. in Swope Music Hall. Admission is $5 for the general public and $2 for students. Traditional Korean snacks will be offered following the show. A 4 p.m. workshop on learning to play the drums will also be offered.

• New Song, Geneva College's traveling music/drama ensemble, has released a new CD called "Stronghold." The CD, the groups eighth, includes 25 unaccompanied psalms and five accompanied pieces. The CD costs $15. Call 724-847-6661.

• The Pitt African Drumming Ensemble will perform a concert at 8 p.m. Saturday in Bellefield Hall auditorium, 315 S. Bellefield Ave., Oakland. General admission is $10; students and senior citizens pay $5. Pitt students with valid ID are admitted free. Call 412-624-4125.• The Heinz Chapel Choir will give a free spring concert at 3 p.m. Sunday in Heinz Chapel, Fifth and Bellefield avenues, Oakland. Call 412-624-4125.• Pitt's University Art Gallery in the Frick Fine Arts Building on Schenley Drive hosts "Studio Arts," the student exhibition through April 30. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and Thursday evenings until 8 p.m.

• The Conservatory Theatre Company of Point Park University is closing its 2005-2006 season with Steve Tesich, Jacob Brackman and Peter Link's playful musical, "King of Hearts."This wacky story of World War I, American military heart, and sanity (or the lack thereof) runs through Sunday. Performances begin at 8 p.m. tonight and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets range from $12 to $14. Call the Pittsburgh Playhouse box office at 412-621-4445.
