2:20 a.m. Sunday — Danielle Grandelis, 37, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at West North and North Chestnut streets. She was also cited for failing to stop at a flashing red light.

12:15 a.m. Saturday — Ken Rosenberger, 43, of Ford City, Armstrong County was arrested for driving with a suspended license at Routes 356 and 28. He was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and other undisclosed traffic violations.

10:52 p.m. Saturday — George Compton, 46, of Lyndora is accused of threatening four people in a dispute over parking outside a Hansen Avenue home.Police said Compton allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened to harm Randi Wilczynski, 25, of Butler; James Ifft, 70, Michael Hedrick, 35, and Katherine Hedrick, 33, all of Lyndora.Compton is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Sunday — An undetermined amount of money was taken between 3 and 8 a.m. in a burglary at the Beacon Hotel on Beacon Road in Forward Township.9 p.m. Saturday — Matthew Maley, 23, of Petrolia was arrested for allegedly violating a court-issued protection from abuse order at a Main Hill Road home in Fairview Township.Maley is accused of arguing with Gena Nelson, no age given, of Butler, to whom the PFAorder was issued. Police said the defendant also kicked Nelson's car and shoved her to the ground. In addition to the PFAviolation, Maley is charged with harassment and criminal mischief.8:11 p.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Peter Andrews, 33, of Pittsburgh and a sport utility vehicle driven by Kristen Moffatt, 25, of Hagerstown, Md., collided at Routes 528 and 488 in Prospect.Andrews, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. He was cited for a stop sign violation and driving with a suspended license.10:05 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by David Ireland Jr., 23, of Butler struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Route 258 in Slippery Rock Township. Ireland, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.7:45 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Daniel Kotchey, 18, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, crashed into a median on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Kotchey was cited for careless driving.Saturday — Twenty-five motorists were cited for speeding within a two-hour period during an aerial speed enforcement detail on Route 422 in Butler TownshipTroopers joined with Butler Township police to conduct the detail held between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.Police noted that one motorist was clocked traveling more than 90 mph; eight drivers were going more than 80 mph; and 16 were traveling more than 70. Additionally, one motorist was cited for driving with a suspended license.Friday — Acar driven by Brent Corbett, 33, of Butler hit a ditch, went over an embankment, rolled onto its side and struck a fence along Thorn Run Road in Oakland Township.Friday — Three lawn mower blades were taken between March 1 and Friday from a riding mower at the Reiber Road home of Dale Fleming in Connoquenessing Township.Friday — A vandal or vandals applied a corrosive substance on two vehicles at the Penreco plant in Karns City. Damaged was a sport utility vehicle owned by the company and a pickup truck owned by William Frkuska of Butler.The incidents between April 3 and Friday are the latest reported cases of vandalism at the plant that is the target of a workers' strike that began in mid-February.

Saturday — Cars driven by Laura Shaffer, 19, and John McCartney, 51, both of Grove City collided on Route 208 in Pine Township, Mercer County. Shaffer was cited for an illegal left turn.Wednesday — Undisclosed property valued at $600 was taken between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday in a burglary at the Stonebridge Commons home of Guy Denniston in Pine Township, Mercer County.
