Lillie C. Lincoln
Lillie Caroline Lincoln, 98, of 1245 Sarver Road, South Buffalo Township, formerly of Widnoon and Natrona Heights, died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday at her home
Born Nov. 28, 1907, she was the daughter of Claude and Julia Mahaffey Kennedy.
A homemaker, she belonged to the Widnoon United Methodist Church and was a former superintendent of the Free Methodist Church in Natrona Heights.
She enjoyed music, crocheting, playing board games, writing poetry and her eight children.
Surviving her are her four sons, Paul Lincoln and his wife, Betty, of Frazer Township, Jack Lincoln and his wife, Della, of Butler, Wayne Lincoln and his wife, Helen, of Butler and Bob Lincoln and his wife, Teri, of West Deer Township; two daughters, Honey Giesler and her husband, Wayne, of South Buffalo Township and Joan Adamik and her husband, Jim, of Fawn Township; 30 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Lincoln Jr.; a son, Charles E. Lincoln III, a daughter, Ann C. Moore; a great-grandson, Charles E. Lincoln V; a great-granddaughter, Megan Lillie Dietz; five brothers, Martin, Clarence "Bud," Raymond, Elliot and Harold "Pete" Kennedy; and two sisters, Marion (Cook) Fletcher and Janice (Bandi) Moody.
<B>LINCOLN</B> — Friends of Lillie Caroline Lincoln, who died on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>DUSTER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 10th Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Barry J. Keurulainen, pastor of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot, officiating. Burial will follow in the Springdale Cemetery.
