Helen L. Pietrandrea

Helen L. Pietrandrea, 92, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Beaver Falls, died Monday at UPMC Cranberry Place in Cranberry Township.

Born Feb. 22, 1913, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of Frank and Concetta Avolio LaPore.

Mrs. Pietrandrea was a member of St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, Cranberry Township.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Peter J. and Maria Pietrandrea II of Cranberry Township; a son-in-law, George E. Hoschar of Beaver Falls; and four grandchildren, Brad Hoschar and Peter J. III, Michael and Gina Pietrandrea.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Pietrandrea, who died in 1991; a daughter, Ruby Hoschar; five sisters, and three brothers.

PIETRANDREA — Friends of Helen L. Pietrandrea, who died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, with the Rev. Joseph Newell as celebrant. Burial will be at the St. Mary Cemetery, Chippewa.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 2 Gateway Center, 13 North, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or to the St. Ferdinand Youth Ministry, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.On-line condolences and directions are available at www.glennkildoofuneralhome.com.
