The United Parcel Service recently awarded a scholarship worth $2,750 to

Brooklynn Drake of Butler.A senior biology/pre-med major at Palm Beach Atlantic University, she was nominated for the award by her school.At the university, Drake serves as the president of the Women Studies Group and is an apprentice for the University Health Center. She is also active with the Women in Science club and is a student mentor.She was also named a Supper Program Honors Student.———

<b>Teague Bintrim</b>, daughter of Ken and Denise Bintrim of Harmony, has been accepted to Gannon University for the fall 2006 semester.A senior at Seneca Valley High School, she plans to pursue a degree in nursing.Bintrim is a member of the National Honor Society, the St. Gregory Youth Group and the Acro/Jazz group. She is also the recipient of the Violet Richardson Soroptomist Scholarship and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Outstanding Young Citizen Award.
