Chupka, Ruby
Butler residents Kelly Chupka and Ronald Ruby were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at First United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. David Panther officiated. A reception followed at the Tanglewood Center in Lyndora.
The bride is the daughter of William and Diana Ketchem of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Edward and Blanche Ruby of Butler.
The honor attendant was Kaylaa Chupka of Butler. Bridesmaids included Kasey McCollough of Center Township; Serena Ketchem and Cathy Hilliard, both of Butler; Deanna Green of Queen Elizabeth, Ariz.; and Amber Ruby of York, S.C. Flower girls included Montana McCollough and Rena McCollough, both of Butler, and Amanda Ruby of York.
Performing the duties of best man was Edward Ruby Jr. of York. Ushers included Nicholas Chupka, Jordan Chupka, James "Ted" Duncan, Michael Duncan and David Duncan, all of Butler. The ring bearer was Stephan Riccuto of Evans City.
The bride is a graduate of Butler High School and a 1992 graduate of Butler County Community College. She works in the office of Dr. Robert McNerney in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 1991 from Butler High School. He works for R.A. Glancy and Sons in Valencia.
Following a honeymoon trip to Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons, the couple is making their home in Butler.
