Cynthia Moy and Michael Borja, both of Alhambra, Calif., were united in marriage on July 2 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. A wedding celebration, attended by family and friends, was held at 5 p.m. Sept. 3 at the Los Angeles County Aboretum in Arcadia, Calif. The Rev. Perry Malacaman officiated. A reception followed the celebration at the Ocean Star Restaurant.

The bride is the daughter of Ging Nam and Helen Moy of Monterey Park, Calif. Parents of the bridegroom are Drs. Rogelio and Benilda Borja of Butler.

Serving as the maid of honor for the celebration was Archelle Abrazado of California. Bridesmaids included Winona Kekeuwa and Melissa Sarmiento, both of California. Flower girls were Hailee Hammond of Harmony and Kristen Van Wagoner of California.

Performing the duties of best man was Bryan Shoemaker of Cranberry Township. Groomsmen were Wally Radjenovic of Parma, Ohio, and Herald Chen of San Francisco. Ushers included Marlon Sarmiento, Carlo Abulencia, Darren Turbow and Leighton Kekeuwa, all of California. The ring bearer was Kieran Hammond of Harmony.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Belmont High School. She works at Arthur Gallagher Insurance in Glendale, Calif.

The bridegroom graduated in 1988 from Butler High School. He works at AIG Environmental in Los Angeles.

Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple is living in Alhambra.
