Alexander, Carroll
Chicago residents Kathryn Alexander and Matthew Carroll were united in marriage at 6 p.m. July 2 at St. Paul of the Cross Roman Catholic Church in Park Ridge, Ill. The Rev. Carl Morello officiated. A reception followed at Fountain Blue in Des Plaines, Ill.
The bride is the daughter of Robert Alexander and Consuelo Alexander, both of Park Ridge. Parents of the bridegroom are William and Nancy Carroll of Butler.
The honor attendant was Cheryl Cain of Ferndale, Mich. Bridesmaids included Elizabeth Kister of Somerset; Emily Heslop of Collinsville, Ill.; Allison Sywassink of Milwaukee; and Bernadette Knight of Hawthorne Woods, Ill. The flower attendant was Emma Cascino of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Jeffery Carroll of Butler. Groomsmen included Jeffrey Buser of Cleveland; Randy Antila of Avon, Ohio; Michael Caldwell of Strongsville, Ohio; and Chad Frisque of San Diego. The ushers were Thomas Stevenson of Butler and Robert Brant of Park Ridge.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Maine South High School, a 1999 graduate of Milliken University and a 2001 graduate of the University of Michigan. She is currently employed at Altana Pharmaceuticals in Florham Park, N.J.
The bridegroom graduated in 1993 from Butler High School, in 1997 from Baldwin-Wallace College and in 2001 from the University of Michigan. He is employed as a performer for the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
Following a honeymoon trip to Napa Valley and Monterey Bay, Calif., the couple is making their home in Chicago.
