Lindsay Blaine and Dr. Lee Bowman, both of Canton, Ohio, were united in marriage Aug. 20 at the Amelia Island Beach Club in Amelia Island, Fla. The Rev. Kim Clemmons officiated. A reception followed at the Amelia Island Beach Club. A second reception was held Sept. 4 at the home of the groom's parents in North Canton, Ohio.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. James and Donna Blaine of Slippery Rock. Parents of the bridegroom are Lee and Mary Lou Bowman of North Canton.

The maid of honor was Colleen Blaine of Asheville, N.C. The bridesmaid was April Laney of Mansfield, Ohio.

Performing the duties of best man was Mike Hulit of Ohio. The groomsman was Mark Phillips, also of Ohio.

The bride is a graduate of Slippery Rock High School and Ohio University. She is currently a graduate student at the University of Akron and an employee of National City Bank.

The bridegroom graduated from Canton South High School, Ohio State University and the Ohio State University Dental School. He practices dentistry in Alliance, Ohio.

The couple is making their home in Canton.
