Flatt, Emmorey

Sara Flatt of Butler and Randy Emmorey of Reed City, Mich., were united in marriage at 1 p.m. June 25 at First Baptist Church in Butler. The Rev. David Maitland officiated. A reception followed at Community Alliance Church in Butler.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Ronald and Sandra Flatt of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Rodney Emmorey of Rockford, Mich., and Connie Malaik of Spring Lake, Mich.

The honor attendant was Rebekah McNeish of Saxonburg. Bridesmaids included Keara Trepanier of Pittsburgh; Mandy Taylor and Lexxie Flatt, both of Butler; and Julia Simon of West Middlesex. The flower girl was Jaclyn Emmorey of Cedar Springs, Mich.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Daniel Emmorey of Grand Rapids, Mich. Ushers included Matt Malaik of Seattle; Jim Decker of Kent City, Mich.; Luke Warner of Indianola, Iowa; and Rick Sabala of Ankeny, Iowa. Caleb Flatt of Elyria, Ohio, was the ring bearer.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School. She is currently a senior at Baker College.

The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Tri-County High School and in 2003 from Faith Baptist Bible College. He works as the pastor at First Baptist Church in Reed City.

Following a honeymoon trip to Florida, the couple is making their home in Reed City.
