Cammisa, McCaffrey
Amber Cammisa of Allison Park and Derek McCaffrey of Freedom were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Butler Township. The Rev. James Murphy officiated. A reception followed at the Tanglewood Center in Lyndora.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Sandra Cammisa of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are John and Irene McCaffrey of Cranberry Township.
The matron of honor was Rebecca Hensel of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Shannon Mullner of Butler and Christine Zacherl of Evans City. The flower girls were Savannah McCaffrey and Summer McCaffrey, both of Cranberry Township.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Shawn McCaffrey of Cranberry Township. Ushers included Mark Dratfinski of Pittsburgh and Michael DelDuca of Cranberry Township. The ring bearer was Dominic Palese of Chicago.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Butler High School. She attended Butler County Community College, St. Vincent College and Indiana (Pa.) University. She works for Nationwide Insurance in Wexford.
The groom graduated in 1989 from Seneca Valley High School and earned undergraduate and master's degrees from Slippery Rock University. He works for Nationwide Insurance in Wexford.
Following a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls, Canada, the couple is making their home in Freedom.
