Karen Savinda and Alan Katz, both of Butler Township, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Sept. 24 at North Main Street Church of God. The Rev. David Brown officiated. A reception was held at Conley's Resort.

The bride is the daughter of Lois Radakovich of Murrysville. The bridegroom is the son of Sidney Katz of Parsippany, N.J.

The bride was presented for marriage by her brother, Keith Radakovich of Greensburg.

The matron of honor was the bride's sister Kim Greenwalt of Belle Vernon. The flower girl was Joelle Dasti of Bethlehem.

Serving as the best man was Bill Hemberger of Sparta, N.J.

The bride works for BASF in Evans City.

The bridegroom is a realtor for Northwood Realty in Butler.

Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Butler Township.
