Duffy, Emert

Lori Duffy of Butler and Ronald Emert Jr. of Northfield, Ohio, exchanged wedding vows at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 28 in McConnells Mill, Lawrence County. The Rev. Jack Hartman officiated. A reception was held at Ghost Riders in Butler.

The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Orville Nagle. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Emert of Northfield, Ohio.

The bride was presented for marriage by her son, Austin Duffy.

The honor attendant was Amy Cousins of Sarver. Bridesmaids were Sheila Rokoski of Sarver and Kristi Ralston of Northfield. The flower girls were Danette Adkins and Adrianna Ralston, both of Northfield.

The best man was Ben Richardson of Medina, Ohio. Ushers were Adam Brantner of Lodi, Ohio, and Mike Polz of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. The ring bearer was Danny Cuffin of Butler.

The bride graduated in 1984 from Butler High School and in 2004 from Butler County Community College. She works for Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Nordonia Hills High School. He is self-employed, the owner of Lawn Medic and Landscaping in Ohio.

Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
