THANK YOU
On Sept. 24, we held our fifth annual Neighborhood Night for residents of the neighborhood around Seneca Drive in Butler Township. We joined one another for a wonderful evening of sharing food, laughter and conversation.
As long-time residents of the neighborhood, we have had the pleasure of living among some of the kindest people in Butler County. Through the years, old neighbors have gone and new neighbors have moved in. Fortunately, our neighborhood has remained as friendly and considerate as when we first moved here.
With the world changing as it has since 9-11, we find comfort in knowing that our neighbors still find time to speak with one another, to get to know one another and most of all, to help one another. We wish it were true for all communities in our country and world.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every neighbor who helped and donated prizes for Neighborhood Night. Special thanks are extended to Rudolph's Home Service for the construction of Paula's Funnel Cake Stand, which was a huge success; Jeffrey Monk who was responsible for the beverage stand; and Uncle Andy, who graciously volunteered his musical talent.
Thank you everyone.
