Jay Hagerman, son of Harry and Karen Hagerman of Gibsonia, was recently awarded an educational scholarship of $2,000 a semester by the International Door Associaton, awarded to family members of the association's employees.He received the award through an association with Thomas V. Giel Garage Doors in Gibsonia.Hagerman plans to attend Gettysburg College this fall.Seneca Valley High School graduates

Citizens Bank recently awarded $3,000 scholarships to eight students whose parents are employed in the Pittsburgh region.Local winners include
Veronica Del Greco and
Benjamin Zimmerman.Del Greco, a resident of Cranberry Township, plans to pursue a degree in pre-medicine at Allegheny College.Zimmerman, a resident of Penn Township, has been accepted to the University of Pittsburgh, where he will pursue a degree in information science.
<B>Sarah Kosar</B>, daughter of John and Phyllis Kosar of Butler, recently participated in the Pennsylvania Governor's School of Excellence for the Arts at Mercyhurst College.A senior at Butler High School, she was one of 200 students chosen out of 1,800 applicants.<B>Michael Park</B>, son of John Park and Jean Park, both of Evans City, was recently awarded the John Glenn Academic Scholarship at Muskingum College.<B>Lauren Lamendola</B>, daughter of Mark and Barb Lamendola of Mars, has been accepted to St. Vincent College for the fall 2005 semester.A graduate of Mars High School, she plans to major in history and education.
