Tom Chybrzynski had two singles and scored four runs as the Butler Cubs won a shootout with the UAA Yankees, 18-13, in the first round of the Mid-County Pony League playoffs Saturday.

Brandon Lamotte homered, tripled and singled twice for the Cubs and Jeremy Rivera had two hits, Brandon Vardy scoed three runs and Dan Everton scored a run.

Anthony Stimac hit two home runs and scored four times for the Yankees.
