Butler Summer Dramatics Youth Project will stage the musical "Oliver" July 28 to 31 at the Succop Theater in Butler County Community College's Cultural Center.

The curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. July 28, 29 and 30 and at 2 p.m. July 31. Tickets for the show will be $8.

Roles are available for children through young adults.

Auditions will be held 7 p.m. Sunday and at 7 p.m. Tuesday, both

at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church hall on Franklin Street.

Callbacks will be conducted Wednesday.

PITTSBURGH - Slippery Rock native Jim DiSpirito, formerly of area band Rusted Root, will perform at Pittsburgh Filmmakers' Media Tonic II on June 25.The one-night event showcases more than 60 artists with installations, animation, still photos, films, sculptures and digital images. PROSPECT - The 27th annual Butler Rodeo is set for June 16 to 18 at the Butler Farm Show grounds, Route 68 west of Butler.The rodeo will open at 8 p.m. each evening. CARNEGIE - Four etchings by legendary Dutch artist Rembrandt Van Rijn (1606-1669) will be on display beginning June 3 at the Renaissance Gallery of Fine Art, 428 Washington Ave.The exhibit continues through June.They are the focus of an exhibit featuring the style of the Old Masters. These four rare images are from a series of eight and comprise the sixth and final striking of original copper plates produced by Rembrandt between 1630 and 1648.They are entitled "Man Wearing a High Cap" (1630), "The Artist's Mother" (1631), "The Card Player" (1641) and "Self Portrait" (1648).For more information, call at 412-279-0411.
