Trevor "T.J." McCance, son of Bill and Gail McCance of Butler, was recently elected president of the student senate at Clarion University.A junior majoring in business management and industrial relations, he is a two-time scholar athlete and letter winner, participating in the Golden Eagles wrestling team.McCance is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School.

Jessy Pizor, daughter of Bob and Terri Pizor of Slippery Rock, was recently inducted to the Golden Key International Honor Society at Duquesne University.A third-year student in the physician assistant program, she is a 2002 graduate of Slippery Rock High School.

Jennifer Riddle, daughter of Rick and Becky Riddle of Harmony, has been accepted to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania for the fall 2005 semester.She plans to pursue a major in fine arts.A senior at Seneca Valley High School, she is the president of the art club and a member of the cross country and track and field teams.

<B>Ryan McCarthy</B> of Harmony was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the northwest Pennsylvania chapter of the American Foundry Society.A student at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College, he is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering technology.<B>Jason Roessing</B>, son of John and Marcie Roessing has been awarded a scholarship by the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, Independent Order of Odd Fellows.A freshman at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College, he is a graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School.
