Sharon Powers and Galen McManus, both of Saxonburg were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Dec. 4 at Clinton United Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg. The Rev. John Callahan Jr. officiated. A reception followed at the Saxonburg VFW.

The bride is the daughter of James and Arlene Powers of Saxonburg. Parents of the bridegroom are the late Harold and Dee Korn.

The maid of honor was Kathy Powers of Valencia. Bridesmaids included Melissa Nelson of Mars and Stephanie Powers of Valencia.

Performing the duties of best man was James Powers of Valencia. Ushers included Timothy Powers of Frederick, Md., and David McManus of Butler.

The bride is a 1981 graduate of Mars High School. She works at St. John's Specialty Care Center in Mars.

The groom is a 1976 graduate of Mars High School. He is retired from the Air Force and works at Giant Eagle in Gibsonia.

Following a honeymoon trip in Niagara Falls, the couple is making their home in Saxonburg.
