Dietz, Blomgren

Amy Dietz of Butler and Oscar Blomgren IV of Nevillewood were united in marriage at noon Sept. 4 at the Duquesne University Chapel in Pittsburgh. The Rev. Edward Grinder officiated. A reception followed at the Wildwood Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Barb Dietz of Butler and the late Thomas Dietz. Parents of the bridegroom are Oscar III and Tina Blomgren of Green Oaks, Ill.

The bride was presented for marriage by her brother, Steven Dietz of Butler.

The honor attendant was Sarah Fair of Butler. Bridesmaids included Conchetta DeCaria of Weirton, W.Va.; Alison Abel of Pittsburgh; Falon Frank of New Castle; and Amanda Blomgren and Courtney Blomgren, both of Chicago.

Performing the duties of best man was Cody Ramsey of San Diego, Calif. Ushers included Joe Wilson, Eric Farr and Ben Pearlman, all of Chicago; Steven Dietz of Butler; and Kevin Gray of Bangor, Maine.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Butler High School and a 2003 graduate of Duquesne University. She works for American Hotel Registry in Chicago.

The groom graduated in 1999 from Libertyville High School and in 2002 from Duquesne University. He works at TUXCO in Chicago.

Following a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple is residing in Chicago.
