Allen B. Young

Allen B. Young, 34, of Butler died Wednesday at UPMC Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh, of injuries received in a vehicle accident in Jefferson Township.

Born April 1, 1970, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Darla Blackburn Young and the late Harold B. Young.

He was a service technician at Bryan's Heating & Air Conditioning. He also drove a horse and carriage for Doreen Blackburn Horse and Buggy.

Mr. Young was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of Clinton Township and the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed playing pool and NASCAR.

Surviving are his wife, Melissa Sleigher Young, whom be married Oct. 9, 1999; two sons and a daughter, Dylan, Dalton and Desiree Young, all at home; two stepdaughters, Monica and Taylor Baptiste, both of Butler; his mother, Mrs. Darla Young of Sarver; two sisters, Rhonda Wissinger of Sarver and Coleen Young of Saxonburg; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Marjory Blackburn of Sarver; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

<B>YOUNG</B> - Friends of Allen B. Young, who died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Deborah Huffmyer officiating.
