Margaret Stephenson

Margaret J. Stephenson, 66, of Butler died at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Sunnyview Nursing Home after a long illness.

Born Jan. 5, 1938, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Harrison Ross Gamble and the late Ellen May French Gamble.

She belonged to Tri-State Country Music Association Chapter 3. She enjoyed dancing.

Mrs. Stephenson retired from Butler Memorial Hospital, where she had been an escort and the TV lady.

Surviving are her husband, Glenn Stephenson, whom she married March 17, 2000; two daughters, Mrs. Rob (Shirley) Domhoff and Mrs. Tom (Kelly-Jo) Fennell, both of Butler; two sons, John W. Stevenson Jr. of Butler and Ryan S. Stevenson of Carlisle; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Greg (Robin) Radwanski of Lyndora; a stepson, Randy Stephenson of Butler; 25 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister, Mrs. John (Martha) Williams of Vandergrift; a brother, Mark Gamble of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eight brothers and two stepsons preceded her in death.

<B>STEPHENSON</B> - Friends of Margaret J. Stephenson, who died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Molnar, pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church, officiating.
