Gallagher, Buchwald
Amy Gallagher of Forward Township and Matthew Buchwald of Cranberry Township exchanged wedding vows at 3 p.m. June 5 at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Evans City.
Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev. William Ritzert. A reception followed at Ritzert Hall in Evans City.
The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Carol Gallagher of Forward Township. Parents of the bridegroom are Robert Buchwald of Pittsburgh and Christine Buchwald of Cranberry Township.
The maid of honor was Virginia Wright of Lancaster Township. Bridesmaids included Lisa Gallagher of Forward Township, Amanda Litzinger of Pittsburgh, Beth Stock of Penn Township and Samantha Gallagher of Butler.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Stephen Foster of Rochester, N.Y. Ushers included Steven Coad of Liverpool, N.Y.; Michael Dallo of Long Island, N.Y.; Brian Hirth of South Park; Jason Gallagher of Butler; and Christopher Stock of Penn Township.
The bride graduated in 1999 from Seneca Valley High School and in 2002 from Seton Hill College. She works for US Investigations Services in Grove City.
The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Seneca Valley High School and in 2004 from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is pursuing a master's degree in electrical engineering.
The couple is living in Pine Township in Mercer County following a honeymoon trip to Minneapolis.
