Maria Pribis of Butler was recently inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society at the University of Pittsburgh.
<B>Kaylie Van Lieu</B>, the daughter of Donald and Lisa Van Lieu of North Washington, has been accepted to the People to People Student Ambassador Program.A sixth grader at Dassa McKinney Elementary School, she will travel to Australia for 15 days during the summer, participating in educational activities and service projects.

The National Council for Geographic Education recently awarded the 2004 Women in Education Si-Net Scholarship to <B>Carol Anne Gillespie</B> of Cranberry Township.Gillespie, who is pursuing a doctorate degree in geographic education at Texas State University, also received a mini-grant for graduate research from the council's external relations committee.
