Neff, Swisher

Dr. Cynthia Neff and Thomas Swisher, both of Brackenridge, exchanged wedding vows at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, W.Va. The Rev. William White officiated. A reception followed at the resort.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Grace Neff of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Joseph and Patricia Swisher of DuBois.

The miniature bride was Victoria Birch of Butler. The attendants were the bride's sisters, Rosemary Whitmire and Martha Birch, both of Butler.

Groomsmen were the bridegroom's brothers, Jay Swisher of Frederick, Md., and John Swisher of Columbus, Ohio.

The bride graduated in 1987 from Butler High School, in 1991 from Gannon University and in 1994 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She works for Eye Care Center in Freeport and Leechburg.

The bridegroom graduated in 1987 from DuBois High School and in 2003 from West Virginia University, where he majored in landscape architecture. He works for the GWSM Division of Pennoni in Pittsburgh.

The couple is making their home in Brackenridge.
