Rachele Cross and John Zirnsak, both of Evans City, exchanged wedding vows at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 14 at the home of the bridegroom's parents in Evans City. Vaughn Bicehouse, mayor of Connoquenessing, officiated. A reception was held at the Meridian Vets Club.

The bride is the daughter of Ron and Joy Cross of Foxburg. Parents of the bridegroom are Lenny and Diana Zirnsak of Evans City.

The bride was presented for marriage by her father and her grandfather, Merle Cross.

Bridesmaids were Kim Osterling, Jessica Courson, Jessica Kelly and Gina Zirnsak. The flower girl was Katyln Mazzanti.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Rich Ridenger. Ushers were Michael Zirnsak, Ed Butler and Tim Hemmes. The ring bearer was Brady Mazzanti.

The bride graduated in 2001 from A-C Valley High School. She works at St. John's Specialty Care Center, Mars.

The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Butler High School. He works for Three Rivers Ice Cream.

The couple honeymooned in Outer Banks, N.C., and is living in Evans City.
