Mary Norris of Chicora and Robert Bemben of Fenelton exchanged wedding vows at 5 p.m. Oct. 29 at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora. The Rev. David DeWitt officiated. The newlyweds greeted guests during a reception at the American Legion in Lyndora.

The bride is the daughter of the late Leo and Sarah Norris. Parents of the bridegroom are Dorothy Bemben of Lyndora and the late Frank Bemben.

The bride was presented for marriage by her aunt, Margaret Stein of Lincoln Park, Mich.

The matron of honor was the bride's goddaughter, Rachel Kuhns of Chicora. The bridesmaid was Kathleen Marsh of Butler.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was David Bemben of Butler.

The bride is a graduate of Karns City High School and Butler County Community College. She works for Penreco in Karns City.

The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School. He works for International Staple in East Butler and is a member of the 171st Civil Engineering Squadron of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard in Chicora.

The couple is currently planning a honeymoon trip to Hawaii. They are making their home in Chicora.
