Fornelli, Tirk
Michelle Fornelli and Jon Tirk, both of Butler exchanged wedding vows at 3 p.m. Nov. 6 at first United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. J. David Panther officiated. The newlyweds greeted guests during a reception at Hindman Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Lois Stickle of Butler and the late Joseph Fornelli. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Tirk Jr. of Butler.
The bride was presented for marriage by her brother, Chris Fornelli.
The matrons of honor were Amy Snyder of Renfrew and Diane Daugherty of Endeavor. Bridesmaids included Nancy Boyd of McDonald; Heather Green and Nora Schwarz, both of Charlotte, N.C.; Karen Lipnichan of Bowling Green, Ky.; and Pam Shultz and Leesa Tirk, both of Butler.
Best men were Matt Tirk and Jon Tirk Jr., both of Butler. Groomsmen included Ed Davis, Bob Lawhead and Ed Wagner, all of Butler; Chris Fornelli of Oakdale; Jason Schwarz of Charlotte, N.C.; and Wade Tirk of West Sunbury.
The bride is a 1982 graduate of Butler High School and a 1987 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works for BlueSky Integration in Plano, Texas.
The bridegroom is also a 1982 graduate of BHS. He works for DuBrook in Butler.
Following a Caribbean cruise honeymoon, the couple is making their home in Butler.
