Clement, Norton

Marne Clement and Kenneth Norton, both of Myrtle Beach, S.C., were united in marriage at 6 p.m. June 7 during a ceremony on the beach in Oak Island, N.C. The Rev. Michael Ward officiated. A reception followed at the Oak Island Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Lois Clement of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Paul Norton of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Bertie Howard of Hamlet, N.C.

The matron of honor was the bride's mother, Lois Clement. The bridesmaid was Jill Rublewski of Charlotte, N.C.

Serving his son as best man was Paul Norton. The usher was Kenneth Branch of Myrtle Beach. The ring bearer was Zach Giles of Butler.

The bride is a graduate of Butler High School and West Virginia University. She works for Celebration in Myrtle Beach.

The groom is a graduate of Richmond High School and Palm Beach Junior College. He works at Celebration in Myrtle Beach.

Following an extended stay with friends and family in Oak Island, the couple is living in Myrtle Beach.
