John Levri, the son of James and Margaret Levri of Sarver, was recently named the St. Joseph High School Boy of the Year by the Allegheny Valley Optimist Club.A senior at the high school, he recently participated in the state History Day competition, where his group earned second place in the group documentary category. He received second place at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Region 7 meeting.He also received several scholarships and was recognized. as an associate scientist in the perseverance award category at the 65th Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair.

<B>Marsha Thalhofer</B> of Butler, a student at Saint Vincent College, was recently named to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

<B> Christopher Armstrong</B>, son of Chris and Lynn Armstrong of Renfrew, has been accepted to Saint Vincent College for the fall 2005 semester.Armstrong is currently a senior at Seneca Valley High School.

<B>Lauren Ricciardella</B> of Butler, a student at Saint Vincent College, was recently named to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

An elementary school student from Washington State wants information on Pennsylvania.The Eagle received a request from Priscilla Talbot for people to send her pictures, post cards, used license plates, facts and products from Pennsylvania.Talbot will use the items for a class report called "Parade of States."
