Phillips, Witterman
Rachel Phillips of Portersville and Mark Witterman of Aliquippa exchanged wedding vows at 6 p.m. July 23 at Presbyterian Church of Portersville. The Rev. Dana Opp officiated. The newlyweds greeted guests during a reception at Shakespeare's Restaurant.
The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Sandy Phillips of Portersville. Parents of the bridegroom are Howard and Cherie Witterman of Aliquippa.
The matron of honor was Kristan Walla of Annandale, Va., and the maid of honor was Betsy James of Beaver Falls. Bridesmaids were Julie Rossi of Beaver Falls, Amy Nichols of Pittsburgh and Jaime Fredericks of Cranberry. The flower girl was Deanna Fiejdasz of Raccoon Township.
Serving as best man was T.J. Witterman of Port St. Lucie, Fla. Groomsmen included Michael Witterman of Center Township, Jonathan Phillips of Portersville, Steven Rossi of Beaver Falls and Aaron Shust of Atlanta. The ring bearers were Luc LaChance of Portersville and Grant Witterman of Center Township.
The bride graduated in 1998 from Beaver County Christian School and in 2002 from Geneva College. She works for the Big Beaver Falls High School in Beaver Falls.
The bridegroom graduated in 1993 from the Hopewell School District and in 1998 from Geneva College. He works for Hopewell High School in Aliquippa.
After honeymooning in Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Monaca.
