Tara Karns,

the daughter of Robin Karns of Freeport, has been accepted to St. Vincent College for the fall 2005 semester. She plans to study psychology.

A senior at Freeport High School, she is the drum major of the marching band, first chair flute in the concert band, student council treasurer and a member of the National Honor Society.

She was also recognized by Who's Who Among American High School Students.

Megan Sheridan

of Butler was recenlty named an Andrew J. Rider Scholar at Rider University.

A senior music education/voice major at the university, she is one of 12 students from the Westminster Choir College to receive the award.

Michelle Sanderson,

the daughter of John and Bernadette Sanderson of Butler, was recently inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society at Duquesne University.

A 2001 graduate of Butler High School, she is a senior at Duquesne studying elementary education.

Jenna Lee Campbell,

the daughter of Walter and Carolyn Campbell of West Sunbury, was recently inducted into the Alpha Chi national collegiate honor society at Geneva College.

A 2002 graduate of Moniteau High School, she is pursuing a degree in student ministry.
