Ronald and Cora Thomas of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Villa Grande restaurant.

The former Cora Marcucci married Thomas on May 15, 1954.

They have three children, Terri Holt, Robin Cooper and Robert Thomas, all of Butler. They also have six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Thomas is retired from Armco. He is an avid reader.

Mrs. Thomas is retired from Montgomery Ward. She enjoys bowling and working with computers.
