Zoelle, Safreed

Sommer Zoelle and Brian Safreed, both of Beaver Falls exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. July 31 at St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople. The Rev. James Bertoti officiated. A reception followed at The Atrium in Prospect.

The bride is the daughter of Chester and Cindy Ekis of Evans City and Russell and Laurie Zoelle of Zelienople. Parents of the bridegroom are Michael and Jeanne Safreed of Cranberry Township.

The bride was presented by her father and her stepfather.

The maid of honor was Nicole Widdowson of Harmony. Bridesmaids were Renee Safreed and Shannon Zoelle, both of Mars; Tara Harvan and Kasey Davidson, both of Evans City; Candice Altemus of Charlotte, N.C.; Laura Zoelle of Renfrew; Katelyn Statzer of Zelienople; and Amy Putas of New Castle. The flower girls were Cambree Kosich of Evans City and Morgan Safreed of Mars.

Performing the duties of best man was Brian Rose of Belleville, Ill. Ushers were Jason Safreed and Brian Perry, both of Mars; Russell Zoelle Jr. of Harmony, Ronnie Feil of Callery, Michael Fox of Portersville, Nathan Statzer of Zelienople and Chase Kosich of Evans City.

The bride graduated in 1998 from Seneca Valley High School and in 2003 from Clarion University. She works for Peekaboo Playhouse Learning Center in Cranberry Township.

The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Seneca Valley High School. He works for SSI Incorporated in Cranberry Township.

After honeymooning in Myrtle Beach, the couple is making their home in Beaver Falls.
